My Story

The year was 2018, I looked in the mirror and saw a stranger staring back at me. At 195 pounds, I was overweight, unhealthy, and unhappy.

I had a wife, two small children (2 under 2…yikes!) and I was a Youth Pastor. All of that demanded energy and endurance, which I did not have.

The moment that sparked a change in me came one Sunday afternoon. A group of guys from church would gather to play football for a couple of hours at the local high school.

After starting, I would soon find myself out of breath and out of energy. Then I would go home and my daughter would want to play and I would have no energy to do that. My conditioning and stamina were so bad, that I could not do all the things that I enjoyed doing.

I knew it was time for a change.

I started with small steps, cutting out sugary drinks and sweets (Full Transparency-I still ate them, just not as much…and still do today!) and incorporating more fruits, veggies, and protein into my diet. I also began to track all my food that I was eating so I could be in a calorie deficit to lose fat.

I also started going to the gym, lifting weights and building muscle. After about 2 years, I lost 40 pounds, built muscle in the process and was feeling so much better.

Fast forward to today, I have put on an additional 10-15lb of muscle and always looking to add more.

But it wasn't just about the weight loss and the muscle building.

It was about gaining strength, confidence, and a new perspective on life.

It was about improving my energy so that I could enjoy all the things I love doing and not have to sit and watch my life pass away.

I could get on the floor and play with my children for more than a few minutes at a time.

I want to share my journey with others and help you start your own. It's not about being perfect, it's about progress. And I want to help you make that progress. I want to walk with you in your health and fitness journey.

So, if you are like I was, unhappy with your current diet and fitness situation, please reach out and let’s start a conversation about your goals and how you can accomplish your goals real soon!

Looking forward to chatting with you!

-Tim
